Race Description:

Rajd Beskidy is the expedition race  held in Poland and Slovakia. The total lenght of the race is about 550  km and has the typical mountain character with about 16.000 m of  elevation gain. The course consists of MTB, trekking, orienteering,  kayak and rafting stages and special tasks: climbing, navigation and  caving. The course requires very good navigation skills. Apart from  basic map the racers will be provided with special maps – satellite,  lidar, etc.

The predicted time of the winning team is about 100 hrs. Only very  good phisically prepared teams with very skilled navigators will be able  to complete the whole course. Having very good skills in mountain  biking is necesarry as well. The slower teams will be forced to cut the  course but all will experience the truly expedition race.
